Long or short bias for each day? Historical study

interesting new study i did: history suggests that a LONG BIAS for the day is established from the closing hour of PREVIOUS day until 1100 AM of current day

for shorts, its influenced by price action from 1030am--100pm of CURRENT day

Algo System Performance Results

Two Unique 100% algorithmic strategies that it took me three years to develop!

* Can be started with small accounts, as little as $1,000.

* Algo knows how to work in multiple markets: Bull, Bear, sideways, trendless.

* Consistent results since 2005, with no major “dips” in the account (see graphs below). Some strategies produce great returns, but if the trader starts the strategy during a “dip” period, their accounts will be wiped out before they can realize any gains.

* The system is run 100% algorithmically.  There is no reason for any human decisions, just buy when the algorithm triggers a buy, and sell when it triggers a sell. Simple. Protection from emotions, which often bankrupt traders.

Algo: Day Trades

 Algo: Swing Trades

* It’s very unusual for newsletters to publish a list of ALL trades for a given period, but I’ve attached such a list here. And not just for a “great” two month period, but since 2005!!!  Traders are bombarded with marketing offers, and they want hard, cold information like this to decide whether the strategy is appropriate for them. (Graphs and attached trade list assume a modest trade of 4 ES futures contracts, backtested from 2005 until 2014.)  The gains would be higher if they did not include commissions, but I’ve actually included them to give a more realistic return.  The attached results do not compound or re-invest (which could produce dramatically higher results).

Other features:

* Two strategies, one for day trading and one for swing trading.

* Swing trading is easy: trader can buy at either 4:00 P.M. or 9:30 A.M, whichever is more convenient for the trader. So they can set their trades the night before, say at 7:00 PM, and just leave for work the next morning. 5 minutes of their time is all that is needed. Trades are always entered and exited at 9:30 AM or 4:00 PM.

* For traders that crave more trades, the day trading strategies provide this. ALL TRADES are closed before 4:00 PM when the market closes, which eliminates overnight risk.

* Strategy can be used with futures such as ES, or etfs like SPY, UPRO, SPXU, TNA, TZA.

* Strategy is easily scalable using futures. My examples use 4 contracts of ES to demonstrate how this can be used by the little guy, but traders can easily trade 5, 10, 20 or even more contracts when their accounts increase, thereby dramatically increasing profit potential.

Here’s the TradeList, all 9,436 of them (displays a PDF file inside browser).
