the 15min chart SPY: 10:30 AM --11:30 am is an example of a FAILED bearish pattern, it "should have" broken lower but bounced instead:  patern was shoot star, 2 red candles, 2 small green candles (all bearsih) that "should have broken 168 SPY but instead bounced. HOweVER these failures are usually "tested again", so should see pullback. tho may be to a higher low above 168 spy.

the algo "shorted into" the failed pattern, currently algo is underwater a bit here, may or may not take a loss on this one...there's still plenty of time left in day to take loss if needed and then take other trades and forget about loss, tho it may turn profit instead of loss

still plenty of room for algo short to recover, it did not short near the days lows, still shorted in upper 1/3 of daily range

usually but not always, when 4pm sys is in "almost ready to exit mode" like it was yesterday, it will pop higher on daily before exiting. obviously spx is lower today, watching to see if it bounces or not, and if so, how much
