prev posted numbers and behavior in gold and silver need to hold in order for vdx trade to stay valid...thus far all acting as expected, and lower before higher would be ok and not invalidate it unless the previous post gold silver is invalid

it's already poked above 1967 once today...later in day a piercing should bring it to 20.10 / 20.30 area next for another stall and digestion. later 22 trgt. slv
slv silver is volatile, but les volatile than gdx. one could also use the 2x and 3x etfs on silver instead of 1x xlv

Gold gld looks like it has another 2--12 trading hours (930-4pm days, not futures hours) of digestion, it may well move lower, but as long as the decline is moderate...all indications are that gold is now at the beginnning of a multiweek recovery phase for a movehigher, as long as it holds over 119 GLD. amove to 117 and hold would delya the recovery, and a move under 117 would mean a re-eval is needed. GDX has a similar forecast. For now, i'm keeping the existing position in gdx, and i will add to it in the coming hours or days, per above observation. i'm not sure it the price where i add will be higher or lower than 121 GLD or 21.50 GDX.

daily chart: last 2 days on both slv and gld are above their 11/25 and 11/29 candles...poss bullish scenario. note that gdx is close to its 11/25 candle, but just below it, not above as gld and silver are
